Help Needed Dually Right Rear Clearance Lights Out

Thanks for the input----WD40 & BIG JOE. What do these things cost, if I have to replace? Ill check the wiring for voltage before I have to get back on the road. Maybe just a loose or corroded connector. This is a 1999 diesel crew cab Lariet---probably one of the first SDs off the...

Help Needed Dually Right Rear Clearance Lights Out

Guys & Gals Checking the lights recently and found that the rear fender (dually) lights are out on the RHS. The book says that there is no fuze and that the entire light fixture needs to be replaced. But, I think it strange that the two on the RHS are out and the two on the LHS are still...

    Needed Lariet Dually Hub Cap

Lariate hub caps Well, guess I will have to go to the dealer and bend over since no one here has answered my request. These hub caps must be hard to come by---guess I will check a few junk yards before heading to the Blue Oval. Thanks, anyway. Jesse East

Help Needed 16 Inch Dually Tires

I went with the TOYO M-55 255/85/R16s. They fit with about a 0.7 inch gap between the duallys. I will have to keep an eye on them if I load her up---doesnt happen often. I put 70 psi in them, but could go to 80 if needed. Jesse

    Needed Lariet Dually Hub Cap

Hey you guys & gals, I need to find a rear (dually) & a front hub cover for my truck. In the process of changing out my tires recently, I have lost one and broken the other. I will pay reasonable price and shipping, if you have them just laying around. These caps match up with the...

Help Needed 16 Inch Dually Tires

Patrick Thanks for the input. I did a little looking around and found two that are E-rated. BF Goodrich has a T/A KM2 in the 255/85R/16 for around $200. This is an Off-Road tread, but others have used it On-Road. Its a little noisy. TOYO has an Open Country M/T LT 255/85/85R16 for...

Help Needed 16 Inch Dually Tires

I need to replace my Dually rear tires. I learned several years ago that the 255x85x16 would fit without interference between the tires. Who makes this size in a street version---E-Rated? Anyone know? Thanks, Jesse east

    Which Tire?

Partick, How will you make tires that large work on the dual axel? You will need new wheels, but even so, you may need a spacer between the wheels----and they will stick way out from under the fenders. Just wondering----Jesse East

    Question Dually Spacer Source

Guys & Gals, Where might I find a 1 inch spacer and longer lug nuts for the rear wheels on my truck? I will be putting a wider tire on the truck soon, and I know that I will need to keep the tires from touching--even under load. Thanks for your help. Jesse East F350 Dually Crew 4X4

Help Needed Vent Tubes & Pit Bulls Dont Mix

Thanks for your help. I took closer look under the truck this AM and found a male vent tube fitting on the top left rear of the rear pumpkin-----with a missing tube. The recovered tube was about 5 inches shorter than it was originally, but I was able to clip it on to a site that gives it...

Help Needed Vent Tubes & Pit Bulls Dont Mix

My sons Pit Bull (70 pounds and still gaining) ripped a vent tube off my F350 Dually while it was sitting outside the barn and unprotected. I found the tube (about 20 inches long, with a ID of 1/4 inch and a OD of 1/2 inch) laying beside the truck. I used a creeper to try to find where the...

MAX DUALLY Tire Size on 16s

Thanks for the info. I presently have 1.5 inches clearance between the rear tires. The 255/85s would be 0.7 inches wider, so I would lose about half of that clearance. Of course, one would have to make sure that they dont touch, even under load. Just thought someone would have driven...
