Oil Bypass ?
I was saying that after I install the bypass system, I have to add a quart. Thats means I am putting 16 quarts in my truck at oil change instead of 15- jimmy28303

Hey, I have a 2010 f250 and I have been looking at the amsoil bypass filter. The amsoil site says for me, I would need to add 1 extra quart. That would take me from 15 to 16. I guess it would depend on how much oil your truck holds but if you go to their site, it will tell you how much to add...- jimmy28303

Plug in or not?
Hey, I live in Fairbanks, AK and we see -35 or -40 on a regular basis. We are actually having a heat wave right now at 10 above. :tounge We use a anti-gel in our fuel that is bought at the dealership. We plug our cars in at night if it is in the negatives. 6.4L erratic idle when super cold.
Hey, I was having the same problem up here in Alaska. I have a 2010 and sometimes it would say "Engine warming up, Wait to Drive" on the display. Once that went away I would just gently press the gas and then let off and it would purr like a kitten.- jimmy28303

Cold weather issue
Hey, I am stationed in Fairbanks and believe me, we get extreme weather up here. 1.5 weeks ago it was 42 below. Pretty much everybody uses something in their fuel. Silverstar Ultra headlights
Anybody own these? I am looking at replacing my high beams because mine SUCK!! My low beams and fog lights are great but with the high beams, I might as well just put the wife on the hood with a couple candles, it would probably work better. I just double checked my owners manual and my oil changes are only required every 10000 miles unless operated in Extreme conditions (extra dusty, excessive idling, etc) then its every 5000.
