    I'll give it a shot till the experts get here. Check your oil dipstick tube where it enters the pan. Saying that since it comes out near the starter. Most other leaks I have heard of come out from the back of the engine from the valley....IE HPOP leak, rear seal.

    Good catch on the GAS part Dave. Hate I missed a chance to poke the new guy. :D Did that clear it up bloomingdale? Personally, mine gets even CLOSE to 1/4 tank and I fill up.

    Taped mine off to one side. However, you can drill a hole and put it in the end of the filter also.
