    Shift lever rattle

    My shift lever feels loose when in any gear and rattles. I don't have access to an illustration or breakdown showing what may be wrong. This, along with the locks, mirrors and overhead console not working are driving me nuts! BTW: all the powered accessories have power, just don't work...

    Cup Holders

    For years I have been dealing with broken cup holders by rigging them open. Now, the final plastic hinge piece finally broke and rendered the assembly useless. Is there a better solution than spending what may be a rediculous sum for an OEM part that may break again or am I stuck? I've seen ones...

    Agreed; I would also have him check all sensors (CPS, ICP, etc). Depending on mileage it may be their time. I've bought stuff from Dieselsite and have no complaints. That set of boots look top quality and is cheaper than other sites I usually shop.

    Check all the boost tube boots; my guess is he's still using the stock Ford ones, which can blow out under moderate boost. I would suggest checking one of the sponsors for the upgraded silicone boots and better clamps, which should be available as a set.

    Took out my IH blue and put in the old one, took it to the dealer who replaced it under the recall. Once home I put the blue back in and kept the new one as a spare. So far 75,000 miles on the IH CPS with zero issues.

    Towing with the 6.7L

    I've driven similar 2011's in both models, and a Ram for comparrison. For the magazine both were picked up in Detroit brand new and broken in on the trip to Colorado. Seems odd to me, also, but the Ford could have been a "Monday" truck. I didn't read anything too sinsiter into the article...

    Free spin conversions

    Looking at doing every upgrade I want while I still have the money to do it, and this is one of those things I want. I would rather have it than wait for a bearing to go out a thousand miles from home towing a camper. Short term investment, long term piece of mind.

    I agree; a truck with "Super Duty" in the name should tow this little bit of weight like it was nothing, but I pulled it better with my 1/2 ton 94 Chevy with 250,000 miles. Trailer, cheap/poor hitch, questionable maintenance/worn parts=bad situation.

    Everyone, I have a set of 06' 18's that I am going to use; the only problem is they rub a bit and will use spacers. However, I need to upgrade to a free spin conversion first. So far the only ones I've seen are the Dynatrac and SpynTec systems. Any opinions on which is best?
