There is no such thing as injector oil! Crank case oil is circulated though the injectors. The injerctors run off of high pressure oil fed bye the low pressur oil system. And yes when you do an oil change not all of the oil is draned out of the engine. about 2-3 quarts is still in the high...
Any dealers service department should be able to tell you. They just have to run oaises and it will tell you if there is any open recalls for your truck
personaly I have never done head studs on a 7.3. Have done many on 6.0 and on all the cab came off! If it was me i would pull the engine if you have the equipment.
sounds like a turbo issue. pretty common on 6.0. What happens is rust builds up on the turbine side where the vains slide. it causes them to kinda jump

The recall is an inspection of the cruise control switch on the master cylinder and a fused jumper harness. If you send me the vin number i can check if you have any open recalls.
