Which 30 amp fuse are you blowing? If it is for the fuel heater, which also controls the "wait to start light". Disconnect the electrical connector on the side of the fuel filter housing and see if it still blows. If it doesn't blow, replace the fuel heater.
The sensor on the rear is the vss/rear abs sensor. these vehicles have a three channel abs system. One sensor on each front wheel, one sensor for both rear wheels. Three sensors = three channel system.
That's what Ford says anyway. It appears to be used kind of like a position sensor, By reading back pressure the pcm knows the position of the EBP Valve. If the valve were to stick closed or partially closed the pcm would read higher than normal back pressure. And, if the line to the EBPS were...
This should answer your question.
Exhaust Back-Pressure Sensor
The Exhaust Back-Pressure sensor is a variable capacitor sensor that is supplied a 5-volt reference signal by the PCM and returns a linear analog voltage signal that indicates pressure. The Exhaust Back-Pressure sensor measures...
This could happen, but look at it this way. If you don't change the fluid, the trans will definitely go out eventually. The old fluid is just going to cause more damage the longer it is in the trans.
Not nessasarily. Static compression could be fine, may only leak under extreme cylinder pressure (turbo boost). The best test is to check for combustion gases in the cooling system. Any good engine tech will have the kit needed to perform this test.
I'll take three of them at that price! You may want to recheck the price, it seems to be just a bit low. But getting back to the original problem. If a shop told me that blow-by was pushing coolant out the degas bottle and causing the engine to overheat; I would be taking my truck to another...
