    Actuators are probably the cause. I replaced mine just a few months ago, powerstrokeshop.com carries them for arounf $40 each

    I know in my dual system the muffler is slightly shorter to accomodate the Y. It may require a custom setup if you want to retain parts of the Banks System, getting everything to match up and look right will be the problem.

    Without Oil Analysis I wouldn't run any oil past the recommended drain interval from the engine mfg. On the gear lube front I've used Mobil 1 products for years and have been pleased with the results.

    Ball joint going bad?

    I shot some RemOil in between the spring leafs today and that seems to have cured my creaking noise. I'll still check the balljoints out just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the help.

    Thanks for the info. I'll jack it up and give the ball joints a test. The tabs in between the leaf springs sounds like a possibility since I washed the underneath of my truck recently with degreaser. The truck only has 46k miles, but I've heard of people getting less miles out of ball joints.

    I just noticed today that I have a creak in my front end when I hit a bump or go over a speed bump? Do you think this is caused by the ball joints or could it be something else? Ben

    DP Tuner

    I don't have a DP Tuner chip yet, but I do plan on adding one later. I would never use the stock setting so I plan on getting high idle, 60hp tow, 80hp economy, and 120 race.

    F250 Front Ends

    The ball joints are the only "weak" link to the front end from what I've seen. Once you switch those over to a greasable Moog they should last a considerable amount of time though under normal driving conditions.

    I'll agree with that. When a new turbo costs well in excess of $1k I would rather take a few precautions just for peace of mind.
