    HPOP O-ring blew

I had a very crappy weekend to say the least. Our son goes to college in Tallahassee which is 2.5 hours away, one-way. His POS Pontiac has been giving us trouble so I've been traveling back and forth for the last few weeks working on it. I went to leave Monday morning around 0500 and noticed a...

Help Needed $1000 to Improve Towing!

I would check on Summit Racing for exhaust also. I bought my 4", turbo back, mandrel bent, aluminized system for under $300. I'm in Lower Alabama so I went aluminized but, being from Michigan myself, I would recommend the stainless obviously. I'm very happy with it.

Looking like a major career change in order.

Having an A&P will open doors across the country. Here an A&P hires on at $23 and maxes out at around $30 an hour with great benefits. Not too hard a'work either....

    Time for Tires again

I'm running Kumho Road Venture AT's (305/75/R16). I love em. They are 10 ply load range E. I paid $153 each for them. They also make an APT and an HT. Kumhos' are rated very well and I think they will last for quite a while.

How to look like a jack-ass in public

It scares me to think about how many stupid people operate, breath and drive around me on a daily basis. The number is staggering...... What do they say? Better to be quiet and let them think you're an idiot then open your mouth and confirm their suspicions.....

Kevin- I'm with you on the education. There doesn't seem to be an agency that really helps you on the transition stuff. Fortunately, there were a few retired folks that came back on active duty just to teach here at Rucker that gave me some good advice. Mine was just a normal retirement after 21...

    rear axle anti-sway bar

I'm after one for a little more stability when I tow my enclosed 14'er with a bunch of bikes in it and more importantly, our boat. I guess I'll check the dealer and see if I can buy a complete kit. Thanks for the input.

    rear axle anti-sway bar

Anybody have any recommendations on a rear sway bar? I look at every SD I see going by and haven't seen one mounted on one yet. Better yet, does anyone feel one is required? I feel the rear end rolls a little more than I think it should. I do have an ARE cap on it though so it is adding a little...

I'm assuming you are getting disability? I would make sure your ducks are in a row before your final day. Make a copy of your ENTIRE medical record before they keep them. On your final physical make sure you tell the doc everything you feel has been attributed to the military. Good luck with the...

    Bald Eagle Sighting........

You see them around here once in a while. There's lake out to the west that they like to nest around. We fly by slow and you can see them sitting in their nests. Very, very cool. I heard on the History channel the other day that Ben Franklin didn't want the Eagle to be the national bird. He said...

    '08 fender vents

My intent is to use them for the purpose they were designed for- helping hot air exit the engine bay. I'm not saying that you couldn't get some air in thru them but, aerodynamically, that area is going to be a low pressure area and very little air would be forced thru the vents. I think you...

    '08 fender vents

Finally parked next to an '08 the other day. I looked into the vent holes and could see light thru them. It was getting dark but I could see light shining on the engine thru the vents. So, yes, the vent are functional. I would think someone here with an '08 could snap a few pics for...
