    i would replace the starter. if you replaced the solenoid already then it's starter most likely. get one from ford and see if it stops if the problem still occurs then you have a spare starter and know it's not the starter. i can't see the ignition switch doing that, but you can change that out...

    the cali trucks has the pulse damper to make the fuel pressure more steady. if you have ever sat and watched the fuel pressure with these pumps it spikes a whole bunch. definitely not a steady stream of pressure, but apparently the cali trucks don't surge the fuel pressure near as bad. not sure...

    figured it all out!!!!!! put in a High Pressure Oil Crossover Line and it screams all the way to about 3800 rpm now!! haha. runs A LOT better now.

    did this before and after the fuel system, but i just noticed yesterday that in the "smoke" program it runs smooth as high as i want to run the RPMs(tested to 3800 rpm). in any other program once it gets to 3000 it just falls on it's face. the oil is good and the fuel filter is new. i will check...
