So DaveBen are you saying that the FICM code is not a problem since it clears out once the engine temp is at 150? It is only since this last winter that I started getting this FICM code. Initially I thought it was just the fuel gelling some in the cold weather. Now that it is 50 degrees...- dmcvey_1999

Well started the truck up this morning and checked and of course the infamous FICM code once again. Tried to clear the code while the truck was idling and in park and the code just keeps coming back. Well I replaced the batteries and initially my FICM code was still there. Cleared the DTC three or four times and decided to take the truck on a long run. Drove it for about 45 minutes and I can definitely tell you the transmission relearned itself. Trans temp prior to the problem was around...- dmcvey_1999

how many miles do you have on your 6.0ltr
75,000 miles on a 06. power steering pump replaced day one from the factory, rear caliper and rotor that was destroyed at 40,000 miles. I run amsoil 15W40 changed at 10,000 mile intervals, change the air filters every 30,000 and fuel filters every 10,000.- dmcvey_1999

egr delete ???
Okay as for the EGR delete kit itself. It looks like about 600 dollars is the going rate for the kit. This does not include labor if you are not doing it yourself. A good quality kit will not delete that hose but reroute the coolant taking out the cooler, and EGR valve. Liberator performance...- dmcvey_1999

I will try and answer a few of the questions posted above. I just recently unplugged my EGR valve electrically. just ordered my programmer
Dude get a trans temp gauge if your tuner doesn't have one on it. Driving in Portsmouth VA this summer caught in stop and go traffic my tranny temp hit 196. No load just the truck. Glad I didn't have a load in that junk. Stock gauge will not let you know until it is to late.- dmcvey_1999

Update to the rotor fiasco. Just left the dealership they are going to cover the rotor and caliper under warranty. Here is the hilarious part.
