    Question Vacuum problem or A/C

    I appreciate the input. I still have not been around my truck to check it out. My father-in-law has borrowed it, to move hay equipment, and he added some freon to it. He said that it cools much better now. Maybe the next time I am home I will get a chance to check out the vacuum leak.

    4x4 not working

    Sounds like you either have a leak or maybe one of the lines did not get hooked up properly. I did the same thing with my 4x4 a couple of years ago and it developed a leak I could not find. Took it to a mechanic friend of mine and he found it and works like a charm now.

    03 6.0 died

    I had a similar problem a couple of years ago on my '04. Changed both fuel filters and have not had any issues since then. If you have not done it in a while I would at least start there since it is relatively inexpensive and you can do it yourself.

    4x4 not going in

    Does the A/C blow from the defrost vents when you engage the 4X4? If it does then that is a good indicator of a vacuum leak.

    Thanks for the input. I did some more searching, after I posted, and did finally find the tire. I misspelled it originally which made searching a little more difficult. I am not going to get the tires. I do not mind taking some chances myself but these would be going on my daughters truck...

    Has anyone heard of this brand or used them? I cannot find out much about them. The salesman said they were manufactured in a Goodyear plant but were not a Goodyear or Goodyear offset tire. Price is definitely right if the tires are good.

    Question Center Console

    I bought a console off Ebay. It was made to fit in the 2008 Lariat. I attached a photo of it. The photo shows the base to be a gray/tan mix but when I got it today it looks mainly gray. When I get a chance to install it I will post some photos to get some fellow SDD opinions.
