    Since you asked.... Federal Law basically says "If it came with one, ya gotta keep one" and from all I've heard it can be a large fine for messing with it... http://autos.yahoo.com/maintain/repairqa/exhaust_muffler/ques081_0.html but like the article says - only if'n ya get caught :)

    While the unit is important, and I vote for SCT all the way... the tuner doing the tuning for your truck is the important thing !!!!!!!

    And I can't give u one back :) :) :) Been BUSY !!!!!!!!!!! Dang new Sr Vp made the rule no telecommuting - been doing that for 10 years or so.... this getting up, gettig dressed, and driving is for the BIRDS !!!!!!!!!! :) Best part about it, they get about 3 hours less productivity outta me...

    Have seen a few Exs around here with what looks like the Range Rover sport "vents" ? at the rear of the front quarter panels like shown here: http://136.8.154.52/l320/countryselector.html I actually like the look, and LOGICALLY it seems it would evacuate a lot of air out of the engine...

    Agree with the "be cool" logic of it... I think it was DalPilot that measured the difference before and after and it was like 60 degrees cooler WITH the zoodad... maybe not a big diff in power, but definetly cooler !

    the passeger side is all the rear ac ducting etc.... but bet there's still room for another "secret" storage compartment :) the side panel is not difficult to remove if you want to see what's behind there. or just go to your freindly ford parts store and ask to see the schematic...

    Haven't been here in a while, but this thread caught my eye... I would venture to say one afternoon in the Texas sun will heat the TOP part of the hood almost as much as the engine could when moving :)

    Chalk test is the only right way to know proper air pressure for YOUR turck and YOUR load.... worth the few minutes of time in the driveway even when unloaded !

    Put a good flow thru turbo back and even with the cat on an 03 6.0L it will be an F-15 crankning up in the neighborhood.... and when it goes into High idle - Whew !!!!!!! when I had mine stock with the muffler removed all I heard was LOUD exhaust most of the time... put the turbo back on...

    We used to get the Dallas School Board and City Council meetings on cable.... I think it was on the Comedy Channel... or maybe Nickelodeon :) :) :) Sad, Sad, Sad..... the inmates are running the prison.... The only thing successful there is Diversity ! :)

    They can locate items for ya.... Most of them can find most parts you want on line and get them shipped in.... Helped me when I found THREE chrome wheels for my daughters LS... he searched and found a fourth.... so she got PRETTY wheels to replace her brushed Aluminum...

    Have been doing something like that on all 3 Ex's.... I just put it in tow haul and tap/ride the brake as needed... saves my brakes....
