    Mud Tire Recommendations?

Those are very good tires, had some 305/70/16s , you can't get them anymore. I have the TOYOs M/Ts now, I can't say I would recomend the either. I would love to put Ground Hawgs on all my Superduties but no one will make me some Rims to fit. DAMN FORD and the 8 on 170mm lug pattern. That's...

    Fabtech 8" lift

I Measured the Fabtech Shocks 32.5"s the stock shocks are 32"s. How the hell has this company been able to do business for even one Year?!! If you build a lift that raises the rear-end 8"s you had better be able to supply a shock that is 8"s longer then Stock!!

    Fabtech 8" lift

The Pro-Comp is the one I was looking at. He said he couldn't get it anytime soon and he recommended the Fabtech. My truck has been needing tires for some time, I’ve Been looking at lift kits for some time. Almost all of them raise the Front 8"s and the rear 5" and that makes them look like...

    Fabtech 8" lift

No sway Bar End Links Front or rear. I specifically stated I wanted those encluded in the kit!!

    Fabtech 8" lift

Looks like no Brake lines. I talked to Kris @ 4 Wheel parts Wholesalers in Jacksonville a week about this. I told him I wanted a no Problems, out of the box, one time Kit. I mentioned the Brake lines specifically.

    Fabtech 8" lift

Shocks are not long enough Either!!

    Fabtech 8" lift

Fabtech, I can’t say I would recommend them at all!! 8 Inch lift and U-bolts are not long enough. 18"s is as long as they say they make that's 5/8th of an inch too short to even start the threads and 2" too short to be of any use what-so-ever!! I didn't find this out until after I took...

    New Turbo, D/A Ford Tech

I moved my Mom out to Fort Worth 2,250 round trip, (My sister’s place) July 4. I pushed the truck to the limit there and back. 24' enclosed trailer with her Escape and all her furniture in it. We left at 10:10 EST and pulled in to Susan’s place at 1:02 PM CT. Needless to say we only stopped for...

    18” M/T Load Range E Tires

Yes, I have (Ground Hawgs, 4Wheel RVTs yes, I'm old School) they are no worse the the Radial Stones I have now. I live on a Island in Southeast GA. Thursday it was 91 Degrees here. You normally only have to worry about the Flat spots when it's really cold 45 degrees or less then it's only for a...

    18” M/T Load Range E Tires

I like a wider wheel also. On my 01 I think I'm just going to go with Eagle Alloy Series 058 in 16.5X12 http://www.americaneaglewheel.com/images/categories/058_HD.jpg and Ground Hawg Bias & Ground Hawg II Radial :: Interco Tire RV-14 12-16.5LT Tires

    18” M/T Load Range E Tires

Those can be bought with 8 on 6.5 lug pattern. You see Chevy and Dodges with them all the time. Do you know the difference between Lug centric and Hub centric? I do, lug centric has a taper on the lugs so you don't have to have a Lug Cap to cover the ugly Lug nuts on Stock wheels!! That is...

    18” M/T Load Range E Tires

Now it's starting to get really frustrating, my 01 has Firestone Destinations M/T 305/70/16s I really like the tire, I have over 50,000 miles on them, they have about 5,000 miles left. There is a National Back order on those with no date for them to be made!! Looks like I’m going to have to go...

    18” M/T Load Range E Tires

I like the BF goodrich Tires, the only ones I've ever had were the ATs. They lasted for 70K miles but were use-less in the mud or sand. They worked well on the pavement!! That one is a little more aggressive, it's not what I would really call a Mud Tire though!!

    18” M/T Load Range E Tires

I just read that the Toyo Open Country MTs are made in White GA. I might have to look more into them!!

    18” M/T Load Range E Tires

Those tires don't look that bad, as far as mud tires go. I would really like a Ground Hawg. (Made in the U.S. 3,660# load range) I may have to settle on something like the TOYO though. The LT275/70R18 (Really too small) and 35X12.5R18s (Really too Large) are Load range E The best size for a...
