    I have been having some loss of assist with PS system. Today I used a screwdriver that was magnetic to put into PS reservoir. When I touch bottom I removed and noticed lots of metal fines. I believe this is the cause of steering problems

    Its time to refresh/change cooling system, I plan to replace all hoses at this time. The “X” is 7 years old and 218K with OEM hoses. My question would you change to the new 203* T’stat? Cost $40.00 +/- Thanks for any replies Ken

    Thanks for all the replies, the MPG almost mirror my "X" with 217K and a life of 15.3 MPG. If you keep your right foot on and egg sheel mileage will improve.

    Boxer are a great dog that are slow to mature. We have two boxers now Dixie and Farly (Named after Chris Farly) Big head little body. An early note suggested the name Major I had the boxer of all boxers. Keep toys and balls for play time and hope your is an inside dog.

    How long do your batteries last?

    I went SAM'S CLUB and replaced both batteries (850 CCA) cost $142.00 and they installed. That included 3 year FREE replacement and a total of 96 months of warranty. The Battery Desulphater cost about the same as a new battery.

    I purchased my "X" March 2001 and replaced the first 2 batteries in May 2004. Now it looks like its time to replace batteries again. In other way to look at battery life I am getting about 100,000 miles of driving with a set of batteries. How long do your batteries last?
