    I had a '90 F250 with two 14 gallon tanks... whats the point? anyways I know transfer flow makes tanks that are over 40 gallons, depending on what setup you have...(CC, LB...     :dunno well guys... I got this all fixed last week... apparently the trans issue was part of the whole reflash/recall thing... let me tell ya... its like driving a totally different vehicle... I hate it! its makin strange noises... the turbo doesnt kick in as quick... its a lot louder than it...

    Shock?

    You definetly want the right length shock for the front of your truck... if you hit a pothole or big bump on the road you might top out and find that the ride is not as good... The easiest thing you can do is call your local 4wd shop like 4wheelparts or something and ask them for part #s...

    Spark plugs

    IMHO spark plugs are spark plugs... go with the autolite or champions... cheap and get the job done... I've had 5 gas powered vehicles in my 8 years of driving, and I tried all those expensive plugs.... I never could tell the difference between the splitfire, platinum 4s, NGKs, and the cheapie...

    no apology needed bud... thanks for helpin out:sweet it only has 13K miles on it, so she was loaded onto a flatbed towtruck a while ago and was taken to the dealer... the freightliners front tires were about 6 inches off the ground for a second while leveling the bed out with the van on it...

    I clocked about 2500 miles this past week/weekend... mostly freeway miles, with a little bit of mountain driving... Tank#1 was straight diesel... 11.2 mpg I added AMSOIL diesel fuel modifier and cetane boost to tank #s 2 to 5 tank 2... 12.4 mpg tank 3... 13.1 mpg tank 4... 14.3 mpg...

    I might as well jump on the bandwagon here....

    smokey... the van is rated at 235 HP and 440 TQ... for cooling reasons... and from what I have heard... the 6.0's are intercooled... (can't really get up in there and check for myself, since the hood is about 5 feet off the ground) it still moves pretty well for being a 10,000 +/- lb. vehicle...
