    It was changed at 95000 miles it (now has 142000 on it) at that time it just kicked the bucket wouldn't start at all this time maybe it is telling me something in a slower way. Someone mentioned it could be the same thing on Diesel down he could be be right.

    Anybody have this problem: 7.3 runs good then runs rough and dies runs good for a few weeks then dies? Could it be a fuel regulator or fuel pump going out? Becoming a serious problem while driving in traffic or on freeway. :confused:

    I own a 01 4x4 diesel and put a 8.5 camper (cab over) on it during the summer and my fuel mileage is really terrible goes from 17 or so down to 11 or 12 mpg. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could increase my mpg?:confused:

    01 F250 First thing I never overworked my truck if I would've been doing that I would have put a heavier duty transmission in it. I have done some towing with it never exceeding its limitations.     Ok everyone, I have another question. Someone who used to be a mechanic with Ford said that a sensor on the drivers side can go out which can cause the transmission not to shift correctly. Is their any truth to this and if so wouldn't I a idiot light come on in the dash?

    Thanks for advice I had a feeling by the smell it was "toast" my diesel has been awesome and so was the trans, which did a lot of towing was great. Would you suggest a performance transmission or just rebuilt?:confused:

    I own a 2001 F-250 AT 4x4 with 125000 miles on it and it just started dragging in drive, I mean it will not drive all now: second, first works fine and reverse. I checked the fluid which was good but it smells burnt I had it serviced at 100,000. Any ideas would be really really be appreciated!
