    my trucks stock,i finally got a boost gauge.when im cruisin it shows pretty much nothing.once i get around 2k rpms it starts building,then it gets to about 15psi when i get close to 3k rpms.2700 to 2900 rpms i would say,then i shift.i was just testing my boost,i dont always drive like that:D...

    well,to be honest,i dont know my pcm code,but my glow plugs have never stayed on for more then 15 seconds,even when it got to 32 degrees out.

    my truck is slow all the time,but when its cold its just more sluggish,it never runs bad,its just slow.when its cold it sluggish all around the rpm band.ive got a banks exhaust brake also.

    yea,i think its all about oil myself,but i also do think it runs better in the cold after its warmed up,few days back it got down to 32 degrees,thats cold here in fl,im from michigan so i know about cold and 32 is pretty cold.

    i just read about a 18k module for sale on a diesel website,it says it can add like 60 hp ,and 120 tq,it was like 80 bucks.cant i get like an 18k resistor from radioshack and acheive the same gains,i just wont be able to adjust it right.i thought the lower resistor the more power.so whats the deal.

    sounds like you need a new fuel pump,i think there is two,one in the tank and one out,the small one just feeds the big one,i think the one in the tank goes bad more frequently then the big one.i would check out the pumps.

    but you always have your truck plugged in right,so your engine is always warm ,i dont have white smoke either when my truck is warm,even if its been sitting four hours no smoke,it just seems like in the morning after 8-10 hours it smoke a bit.

    white smoke isnt normal? what does it mean? the connectors,there is one on each side that has the clip snapped off,but they seem to be plugged in tight.my truck smokes white on all cold start ups,it slowley seems to clear up,after about 5 minutes,i can hardly see any,when its warm there isnt...

    ive got a 4inch lift and 35's it dont seem to affect it at all.i wouldnt lose sleep over a -.5mpg loss.id leave the lift on,safe yourself the hassle.:D

    as long as i can get an ice cold pepsi or coke,im happy.:) but i like the idea of a show type get together.were we all just clean up our trucks and park em for everybody to check out,i think having the vendors would be a great idea also.:clap:
