    What about the HPOP? will it throw a code if it's not supplying enough oil? It did it on both tanks so I don't think its a clogged filter in the tank.

    Thanks man, this helps a lot. I ordered a new billet grill from JEGS and I think this will also give me more room to get my existing cooler to fit. I re-measured it (13t x 11L x 1-1/2w). I was also looking at the tru-cool 4739. It's 8-1/2 T x 22-3/4 L x 1-1/2 w.

    After you get guages go to harbor freight and get a code scanner. It'll tell you what the computer is seeing (probly overboost). for that you'll need a boost fooler. and that "Adrenaline" HPOP is fairly inexpensive!

    My cooler is a B&M 11"x12"x1-1/2". It looks just like your Trucool. I'll get pics up of my bumper/intercooler clearances tomorrow.

    Banks mounted the intercooler pretty low, (you can see it through the vent/light holes in the bumper) and there is 5" clearance above the intrcooler. I'll see if I can mount one down there. What trans temps do you see on your setup? What are good/safe temps?

    I just got my new "Technicooler" intercooler installed at Banks, it really makes a big difference. They had to remove my big aftermarket transmission cooler to fit the intercooler in so I need a new skinier tranny cooler to fit where the stock one was. Any ideas?:confused:

    Question fuel guage reads way over full

    I got a schematic of the circuit and it says it should read 145 ohms full and 22.5 ohms empty. I'm thinking it's a loose ground somewhere?

    My fuel guage is reading way over full on either tank. (front tank's empty and back tank's half full. I checked the wire connection at the fuel tank selector valve (looks good).Where else should I look? This sucks when you don't have much fuel in your tank.

    Tony Wildman Chips are the best for 97's, mine rocks! When I'm pulling my 14k trailer, (fully loaded) I have to shut my OD off or the EGT's will get too hot. On the flats I cruise it in OD, unless I'm smokin somebody (heehee):roflmao

    SkyJacker has a leaf for my truck that's softer with about an inch more lift than I have with the "add-a-leafs". I'm gonna try this route.

    Thanks for the ideas guys. I'm gonna look into all of them. Maybe at the junkyards for a straight axle and check out those reverse shackle kits crumm mentioned too, or maybe I can get a set of 4" lift front springs that aren't as stiff as my stockers with the add-a-leafs (wheew, there goes...

    I called "OFFROAD UNLIMITED" about their reverse shackle kit, but they said it was only for straight axles, not independant front suspensions like mine! Bummer huh? Any more ideas? Been thinkin bout makin' my own drop hangers/shackles/reverse kit... Does anybody else make long shackles?

    They are sooo stiff it hurts my eff'd up neck, but I like the ride height. Should I take 'em out and just add steel spacers under the stock leafs for proper lift? Any ideas?
