    Got it back together today. No other problems. I don't know how long the JB Weld will hold but everything is dry and engine running fine. I will look for an inexpensive fuel filter canister to later replace or keep handy if this happens again. Thanks for your replys.

    I understand that they have waived most of the requirements (Commercial tags, DOT inspection, special permits, and log books). Only thing required is insurance, but are only paying $1.05-1.10 per mile one way. That will not buy very much $3.00 fuel.
