    I was curious if anyone had a multi position chip and had one of the programs made for smoke. I know everyone says it's wasteful unburnt fuel, but you have to show off sometimes, right?!? You would still have your econo program and your power and tow programs? Thoughts? Bill

    Early 99 Turbo

    Most turbo's ride on bronze sleeves. Ball bearing turbo's are far less common, and alot more expensive than the plain bearing sleeve type. They seem to spool up faster though, which may be a benifit with the larger A/R turbine housings on aftermarket turbo's.

    I would prefer a limited slip, but would consider a locker. Though I ran a locker on my camaro, and it wasn't fun in the rain. Not sure if it would be any different on a truck.

    Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like I have the manual locking hubs. I never would have guessed that on a 99 truck. My brothers Chevy has a transfer case lever on the floor and it will engage 4WD by just pulling it, I just figured that mine was the same. I just picked up the truck today...

    4 wheel drive not engaging?

    I have an early 99 F350, and the 4 wheel drive isn't engaging when the transfer case is moved to the 4 hi position. The 4x4 light comes on, but I'm assuming that is just a switch from the lever? Is this just a simple actuator problem, or is more involved. Anyone have a link to the wiring...
