    Worst Stuck......

    got my 74 IH pickup stuck in the middle of the road, hit a snow drift that was 6 feet in the middle and 60 feet long, had to climb out the window. started digging, got to the hood, got to the bumper, got to the tires, finally got to the ground about a foot below the tires. wasn't going anywhere...

    update.... seems that the fluid is coming from the front seal, between the transmission and the torque converter, but only when I am pulling.

    Glow Plug Relay/Glow Plug Replacement

    I would still check them first by ohming out the connector pins. my problem is not the relay or the glow plugs (although one was questionable, all the rest were in spec.) I ended running a manual switch for the relay. has to be the pcm or the barometric pressure sensor that is my issue.

    I haven't done anything yet, but how critical is it to have the gauges first? I want the tow haul setting probably from a programer, but was wondering if I need to beef up the exhaust first.
