Drivetrain noise
Seems to me like my yoke (front of the driveshaft) is binding up to the output shaft of the trans when I stop then unbind when I take off again. Sounds like a thump. I believe there was a TSB on this. Ford calls for a special lubricant on the yoke. What could I use besides what ford calls for...- rathbone

EGR removing?
I was going to ask the same question. Is there a egr delete mod. I know if you keep it unplugged it will throw a code.- rathbone

Thanks for the help got the valve out. Was not as dirty as I expected. Cleaned and reinstalled now.- rathbone

EGR removing?
I was going to remove my egr valve tonight and clean the thing due to it getting gummed up. I removed the connector and the two 8mm bolts and damn that thing is in there. I can rotate it a little but to pull it out, whats the trick? On a 03' F-350 6.0 Thanks- rathbone

Head Gasket Replacement
Why not just upgrade the stock head bolts to the arp head studs now? Remove the valve cover and replace one at a time. And your set. Thats what I was doing when the Mitsubishi Evo's came out at my shop.- rathbone
