    Pump problems

I don't know I am out in the boondocks for work right now otherwise I would have been able to shop around and put it in my self but we are working 11hr days out in the middle of Kansas and I don't have my tools with me. The pump was pumping just fine but he said the treads on the pump where all...

make sure you put the right oil in your truck!

That sounds like a sensor problem more than the wrong kind of oil problem. It doesn't matter what kind of oil you put in the engine it will still read a pressure if the pump is pumping. And I would think it would take a long time to realize the ill effects of the wrong kind of oil in an engine.

mine is working now replaced the brake switch and wiggled the plug by the master that was put in in the recall and it started working. I am thinking it was the brake switch, I also made sure the switch is in the correct orentation it has to be perpendicular with the pushrod from the master not...

    Death Wobble

steering stabilizers are not to stop wobble they will help it but stabilizers are to ease road feel and wander. They will help with death wobble but that would just be using them as a band aid and not fixing the real problem. Any old vehicles with worn parts are susceptible to death wobble...

Question Dana 60 High pinion (reverse) or regular?

1% is close enough you won't notice it, they come from the factory with that difference all the time. Yours is getting stuck in fwd for other reasons, It will only come out of 4wd when there is no tension on the transfer case. It will take that up in the slop of the gears and the transfer case.

    Question 4X4 Locking Hubs

You are talking about drive slugs. Wheelers put them in swapped in Dana 60 axles to eliminate the weak hubs. Just look at some wheeling sites and you should be able to find them. Most front axles out there don't have locking hubs. Most jeeps have been like that for years. But expect your...

    line lock/ Duo lock

anyone know what size the brake lines are on the 350 someone said 1/4 but others say they are normal 3/16. I am 1200 miles from my truck otherwise I would check for myself.

    line lock/ Duo lock

got a couple of these I am going to see how hard it is to plumb the other one in the front. Didn't go with the electric cause if it looses battery the brakes will release. There are guys on the jeep forums that have had these on for days and they don't loose pressure. Very simple design. I...

    line lock/ Duo lock

On some of our older Digger trucks with hydraulic brakes we have a thing on them called Duo Locks, AKA: Line locks. You pull the knob and push down on the brake petal and it holds the hydraulic pressure in the brake lines, holding the brakes on. These trucks are up to 30 years old and no...

bad ball joints are not the end of the world I dove my jeep for at least a year with balljoints with play. Its not like they are going to tear apart wile cruising down the road.

    Death Wobble

Is it death wobble or just shake. On my jeep I would get death wobble so bad I would have to slow down to about 15mph for it to stop it would make the vehicle uncontrollable. If you do death wobble tires a couple times it will burn into the tires and it will be near impossible to get them to...

    superduty inframe?

I would say it would help the engine is like 800lbs but it is deep in the engine bay so you would possibly need the reach and the capacity.

    superduty inframe?

pretty much, and snake out the turbo and all the plumbing before you can move the engine.

Turbo Growl when pulling heavy loads

my 7.3 kinda does the same thing with my Bully Dog on tow mode on the hills. When I have the cruse set pulling the jeep on the trailer and hit a hill when the boost get up near 10psi it starts to chatter. I believe it is the waste gate chattering. Because it makes the same noise when letting...
