    Its the same ultra low surfer fuel just has red die in it. It will take a while for the red to come out probably a couple tanks worth. Even if it was just low sulfer fuel your truck didn't require ULSF it wasn't until '07 the engines required it.

    I know on my jeep when my battery was dead and I would try and start it my remote start solinoid would click on and off very fast I imagine there is not enough voltage to hold it so it would click on an off like a blinker.

    I would say the batteries are junk. Some batteries can't stand to be drained dead and left that way.

    EGT and Oil temps

    Actually bulldog said that the most accurate spot is 3inches from the intake of the turbo have it too close to the exhaust port you will get erroneous readings. Mine is mounted right before the turbo in the up pipe
