    I made my own from another mod out of a 97 ford ranger heater valve, some vacuum line and 4 clamps. Keeps the fluid flowing instead of just stopping it and was cheaper. :D Dropped MY ac temps by 10*.

    True JL. But I want the GOOD stuff so I wont have to touch it again for oh 300,000 miles or so. :D And I have an 02, mine didn't come with green but Gold. So I'll flush it all out and switch over. Found it. Local IH dealer for 21 bux a gallon.

    I'm with you sagebel. That's probably the weakest link in that chain. Cooler or lines. Specially if there's an aftermarket cooler added we don't know about yet.

    Everything's a tradeoff. That truck you have now will do things an F150 could only DREAM OF!!!!!! :D For example: Pull your house off the foundation, tow it for 100 miles and not break a sweat, the engine will last forever ( properly maintained of course).

    I forgot something. We also blow these things out ( from the inside) with an airhose. Gets you a little more time on them, And if your anal about filtration like I am just throw some hose over the filter or buy a prefilter cover.

    Actually its closer to Augusta GA. But this filter? 1 of the easiest mods I have ever done if not the easiest and I love it. Little more noise with the 6637 filter but like I have said before I use these same filters on MUCH more expensive equipment than our trucks so I trust them completely...

    IMHO and everything I have read you shouldn't see over 17. FWIW. I have nevr hit over 17 in my 2002 and like you I'm stock. Cept for intake and exhaust. ( No monster tunes or big oil just running her like she came out of the factory. ( Till my DP-Tuner gets here! :D )
