    09 F350/450 vs 2000 F650

Low air preassure = locked up brakes. At around 65 psi low air warning light comes on aprox 30 psi brakes lock up:eek: . Not a good idea at 60 mph.

    09 F350/450 vs 2000 F650

If you can afford to pay 10,000 to 1 million for an RV you can afford to be properly trained to opperate it. Did you know that air brakes take atleast 1/2 second to engage that little time could be the difference between life and death. I dont want to go into it all here if you dont beleve me...

    09 F350/450 vs 2000 F650

Do you have to be so NEGATIVE. Think about it this way most insurance companys will give you a discount for taking the course. It wont cover the full cost but it helps. Buy the way why would you NOT want somebody in a 40,000lb rocket on the highway to NOT be trained on how to use it. Would you...

A good 6 to 10 week course $1300 - $2500 And that includes the truck to take the test. Anybody that offers those 1 week classes stay away.

Yes remember 86% of all accidents involving a car and a cdl class truck is the fault of the car. Now put the driver of the car in a motor home and wach the carnage.

    09 F350/450 vs 2000 F650

I can agree with you on that. The problem is the people that buy RVs as big as a bus and have no idea of how to properly handle them. Another problem is these fly by nite " CDL driving schools" 2grand and thay will get anybody a licence. I do however beleve that proper training is a must when...

It may not be enforced in your neck of the woods but it is the law. There are a lot of changes going on now because of those 89 year old men and people towing huge trailers with trucks that have no buisness towing anything bigger than a jetski. In the next few years you will start to see proper...

    09 F350/450 vs 2000 F650

Being a CDL driver this is one thing I know about. ANYTHING with a GVW 26,000 lbs OR with air brakes of any kind the driver MUST have a cdl b with air brake endorsment and cannot pull a trailer more then 10,000 lbs without a class A. Its not the state police you have to worry about its the DOT...

    03-06 SD wheels

Unfortunatly there is no 16" wheel after 05 (as far as I have been able to find out). Also the 17" may be to small to fit around your brakes. It may be cheaper to get a new set of 18" take offs and have them studded then just swap rims and tires depanding on the season.

    Limited Slip....... NOT

I guess you found out that the factory limited slip only works when it wants to ( I got stuck on wet leaves once ). I agree with bush on the royal purple mine seams to work better with it. If you want something better go to a selectable locker. Heres a trick from my wheelin days If you have one...
