    01 F350 wheel spacers...where are they??

here's a set on ebay keep in mind that your rim & tire are centered by the hub not the lugnuts as most people are used to and the spacers may interfere with that centering. oh yeah is your truck SRW or DRW?

    Injectors...AA, AB, etc...diff?

TG you are correct and without looking up the fuel delivery specs with a weak pump you may see CEL even from a 17° HPOP in weak condition at WOT even though it was working fine for smaller split injector.

    I may have screwed up

    1. do you see a difference between chipped and no chip? if so then you may have damaged the connection on the circuit board 2. do you see a difference between the different positions on the chip? If not then the dial may not be connected well or may be damaged.

    Spring bushings

factory spring bushings are generally not removable without complete destruction. Unless Ford completely changed their mind they will need to be destroyed to get them out. I'll suggest buying aftermarket ones.

    Injectors...AA, AB, etc...diff?

it'll run but you won't get the performance gain without computer programming at a minimum and your stock HPOP needs to be in good shape.

    Enclosed trailer rental?

ABF won't touch it in the keys. and the PODS type storage & moving deals are not down there either. We've decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and rent a truck from penske and a trailer to drag the car back with. Driving a car that''ll pull 30 MPG down there will save us around $100 in fuel...

    Question Injectors

patients and make sure you get the fuel & oil out of the cylinder before you put the injectors back in or you'll bend a connecting rod. Look for the injector replacement article from 95stroker in the wiki (link is in the blue bar at the top of the page.

    Enclosed trailer rental?

Does anyone know of a company or someplace or someone (preferably in NE FL or reasonably close) that would rent an enclosed trailer? I'm trying to figure out cost effective means of moving my GF from the Keys up here and not sure I'm willing to fork over $500 for a uhaul/penske truck and I...

    Tymar prefilter

I beg to differ with you here Dave. the prefilter is going to keep the larger junk from getting into the primary air filter, and hopefully prolong it's life. Yes it will cause some restriction to air flow but no more than a mildly dirty air filter.

Oil Filter (Fill or Not To Fill?)

I fill mine through the big hole which when installed is the oil outlet. Most I've purchased have a rubber one way anti-drainback valve on the small ports so they need some pressure to get the oil in there anyway.

    How are the ts chips?

for the 7.3 everyone except DP Tuner uses what is often called a TS chip. The programming that will come one one from ebay or TS performance is old, outdated and while better than stock much better programming exists. All of the following companies sell TS style chips many have their own...

    Highest Quality Glow Plugs

avoid autolite plugs. the local autozone will sell you motorcraft/beru plugs or at least they do around here and they had the best price when I was looking a few years back.

3.55 rears will give you a bit longer legs and can hurt towing power over the 3.73. What year trucks are you looking at, brand new or older? Oh and welcome to the site.

    Question gear vendors

I know plenty of people with them and as was mentioned if you are engine braking then you must put the gear vendor in 1:1 not the OD gear. Oh and you have to change the fluid about as frequently as you change your engine oil. I have found very few people who will tell you that there was an...

    banks trans command?

ahh well if it was essentially free then that's the best kind of mod and since you already have a banks chip they will work well together.

    Water-In-Fuel light when turning right???

you will have to run the engine or open the fuel filter housing before it will drain well, otherwise there is a vacuum and the air does not flow in easily. Fuel filters should be replaced on a regular basis between 10-15k miles is a reasonable number. When you compare the cost of filters to...

    Wierd noise

yes absolutely it is a butterfly valve in the exhaust just after the turbo. if the valve closes the engine has to work harder to push the exhaust out of the cylinder causing it to bog down because it is working harder.
  23. BJS

    banks trans command?

you can get the same impact from a chip most chip programmers bump up the line pressures. Banks simply choose to do it separately, and as a result if you choose to go with a programmer or chip you will need to remove the transcommand as they do not play well with other power adders

    Tire Size

finding a rear to swap out is not going to happen because it is not the standard F350 rear the '97 superduty is essentially an F450 IIRC he will have a dana 110 rear or something like that. If memory serves me right the lowest numerically gears available stock were a 4.88 Oh and the frame...
