    bad mileage?

my speedometer/odometer is almost exactly 10% slow. I have used a gps to determine that if my speedo reads 50mph, I'm actually going 55mph, 70mph means 77mph and so on. so I use that formula for figuring my mpg also. If the odometer reads 300 miles I use 330 for my calculations.

    bad mileage?

First of all, I dont think the tires make that big of a difference in your fuel economy. 2nd the size 305/75R16 doesn't exist, it may be a 305/70R16 which is the same height as a 285/75R16 tire. If you check the tire specs a load range D 305/70R16 tire will carry as much or more weight than a...

leave them alone. you don't even have to un-plug them when you change the glow plugs.

    Foil Delete?

I removed the foil when I did my glow plugs (the tube was off anyway). I noticed a lot more turbo noise between 9 & 15 lbs of boost.I like the noise and it looks better.

    Help Needed Steering wander

Take a close look at the output shaft on the gear box where the pitman arm attaches. Mine broke like if you twisted a tree branch. I have never seen it happen before, or since then and I have been in the auto industry for 20 years, but it is possible.

    annoying vibration

Did you check the trans mount with torque on it? Sometimes it is not visible unless you actualy have somone in the truck with it in gear while you are looking.

    Question Fuel bowl leak? parts?

One of the most common fuel leaks is the drain valve. You can buy a new one from ford along with a new set of fuel line seals. They will come in a kit and they are pretty easy to change, and relatively inexpensive.

    6.0 fuel smell

We have a smell of fuel from the engine compartment, but no noticeable leaks. I was wondering if anybody has any ideas. There is moisture around the fuel filter but it is not wet.
