Windsheild Wiper ON = Engine Shutdown
This is a known issue with after market camshaft position sensors (Ford calls it a CMP although some call it a CPS). The frequency that runs the wipers on intermittent mode interferes with the signal from the after market part. Put in a genuine Motorcraft CMP. Its on the front of the motor...- bigb56

I got it for my 2002 and I love it. I've used it to fix my Park Aid and my 4x4. You do need a set of factory service manuals in conjunction with the info that AE gives you. 2002 f250 7.3 heater not working ?
My stat was stuck open on my old 6.9, could not get heat either. Had to put cardboard in front of the radiator till I got home from the mountains and changed it. So check for coolant level, and check that engine is heating up- bigb56
