    diesel engine heater

In january I backed the truck out of the garage, where it never gets below 50 degrees, so my daughter could park her car inside. We had 8 inches of snow and then the temp dropped to -20 with windchills to -35, it sat outside for a week. It pained me to see my baby covered in snow for the first...

    2017 Platinum ride

I added a taller rear block to the rear of my 250 to get the back up so the truck sat level. Then added a super-spring add on to the rear leaf. That way I kept the nicer ride of the 250 and was cheaper than buying a 350 platinum. I had always had 350's but didn't like the price of them anymore. I...

    diesel engine heater

I just looked for the cord for the engine heater on my 2013 6.7 and there isn't one. I don't normally drive my truck in the winter months but why would Ford not send every diesel out with an engine heater? Are they block heaters or where would one go if I wanted to add it? Merry Christmas Everyone!!

    Stolen truck, looking for replacement

I had a 2006 6.0 truck I drove for 4 years, the only trouble I had was a turbo problem that Ford took care of, otherwise never spent a dime on it. Bought it with 50,000 miles on it, was a great truck. Had a 6.4 for two years then traded for a 6.7 three years ago, haven't had any problems yet...

    Storing my 6.7

Hello, I have a 2013 250 Platinum with the 6.7 , I only put 3 to 4 thousand miles on a year, mainly pulling my fifth wheel camper. I change the oil once a year regardless of miles. I don't drive it in the winter, its stored in a heated garage, but I am wondering what I should do to keep the fuel...

New Member Hello from South Jersey!

I have a f-250 platinum with the 6.7, I love everything about the truck except for the fuel mileage. Its like a semi crossed with a cadillac but it sure drinks alot. I had a 2008 with the 6.4, loved that truck as well, but nothing compares to the 6.7 power. I had a 2006 with the 6.0 had the...

    Fifth wheel or Gooseneck?

I personally prefer a fifth wheel over a gooseneck. Goosenecks are fine for flat bed hauling but when pulling a camper with all that wind resistance its a much smoother ride when its a fifth wheel. I had a b&w companion fifth wheel hitch that fit in the turnover ball on my old truck, expensive...

    Question 2013 f250 suspension

I ended up putting the thicker blocks in and putting a set of super springs in. The rear of the truck is touch a touch too high now for my taste, but it rides great with my fifth wheel hooked up . If I had to do it again I would have just done the springs and left the blocks, because they raised...

    Question 2013 f250 suspension

the front sits fine, the rear is 2-3 inches lower, I looked at some new ones at the local ford dealer, the only difference between the rear suspension on a 350 compared to a 250 is the 350 blocks are 4 inches thick instead of 2 inches like on my 250. I think that is probably what I will do is...

    Question 2013 f250 suspension

Hello, I am a new member and am looking for some advice. I just traded my 2008 f350 6.4 for a 2013 f250 platinum 6.7. My 08 sat 3 inches higher in the back than my 13 does, I am concerned the back is going to settle too much when I hook up my fifth wheel camper. Any suggestions on what I could...
