    What kind of a job are the up pipes, I haven't looked into it much but some dude on another forum was saying it's best to pull the trans out? I'm not crazy about that if it's not really required, any feedback is appreciated.

    new alternator on and it's all good, showing 14.4 at the batteries and 14.5 at the stud on the back of the alternator.

    Those readings were at the batteries and the stud on the back of the alternator.
