Heater control question
I've been noticing that what ever I have my vent control set to, the AC compressor is cycling. But other then that the set control is working from floor, vents, floor/vents etc. Has anybody had this happen to them?- rathbone

Aftermarket intake or not?
From what I have read and been told is that 6.0 motors have a good enough flowing air filter. And that it works better then other oem filters. I'm willing to spend the money if I can find one just as good as the stock unit but flows more cfm's (less restrictive then stock). Just looking toward...- rathbone

Using heating oil as fuel for the truck, damage?
The truck I just bought was driven 30k out of it's 45k miles with heating oil. What is different from diesel from heating oil? Any damage possible, more sludge? Any info will be greatful!- rathbone

New guy from SC
Just picked up an 03' F-350 super crew cab, 4x4, long bed, Lariat, 6.0 from my father inlaw. The truck has been sitting in his garage up in NY for the past two years. He wanted to sell the truck so I asked how much. 20K later I got myself a new truck. The truck has 45k miles on it and I say 30k...- rathbone

Drivetrain noise
Seems to me like my yoke (front of the driveshaft) is binding up to the output shaft of the trans when I stop then unbind when I take off again. Sounds like a thump. I believe there was a TSB on this. Ford calls for a special lubricant on the yoke. What could I use besides what ford calls for...- rathbone

EGR removing?
I was going to remove my egr valve tonight and clean the thing due to it getting gummed up. I removed the connector and the two 8mm bolts and damn that thing is in there. I can rotate it a little but to pull it out, whats the trick? On a 03' F-350 6.0 Thanks- rathbone
