Mobil 1 Diesel Truck and SUV Synthetic Oil
Anybody use this stuff. I've read the bios on it and it seems great. I have run Mobil 1 in a gasser and loved it. This stuff fully exceeds Ford's requirements. Looking for a little better gas mileage and maybe better winter starting.- Shraderman

ByPass Oil Filter
I'm close to installing a bypass oil filter. I like theFS2500 that's touted in all of the magazines. That seems tailored towards big rig guys, which means it's likely a good product. I know this is a popular subject and there have been lots of posts, but haven't seen anything about these two synthetic oils. Does anyone use them? If so, what are the results. Just a Newbie question here. I've got a 2006 PSD and as I'm unfamiliar with the low fuel warning and how much I can trust it, I've been playing with my mileage. New Ford SD Owner
I finally took the plunge with a 2006 SD Lariat. It's my first Ford and my first Diesel ever. Driving the thing is great. It's high, it drives well and in the SuperCab version isn't so long that it can't get around town. The only bad thing that I can think of is boy is that engine ever LOUD...- Shraderman
