2008 Tweeter

Has anybody installed tweeters on the horizontal part of the door panel, just infront of the power mirror adjustment, or would this collect allot of dust?

becareful where you put 'em...wouldnt want 'em to get WET
when you opened the door or rolled down the window....another
good "trend" is to bounce the sound off the windshield by mounting 'em
in the A pillars (pointing toward the windshield).

even the sail panel mounting provides some mounting depth issues.

tweeters are directional so you can bounce the sound or POINT it
towards the listeners (this isnt true for bass, which is non-directional)

Ah, yes, water. Forgot about that one. It's always the first place to get wet with the window down or the door open. My A pillar is crowded with 4 gauge pods. I will probably end up with something along the lines of your install, nothing wrong with that. Or the 2008 panels. Too bad they don't fit better. But the factory panels in mine don't fit super great either.

someone on here had their own bulit into the sail panel...and they were
the most impressive install ive seen in a LONG time.

I put my 08 speaker panels in today. I took my dremmel and extended the slots for the two clips downward. Then notched the factory door panel lip where the new 08 pod hits...fits great now, all the way down to the panel. No more 1/4" gap. Ill get pics...

Cool, I knew there had to be a way to do it. Have any part numbers though?
