We all wonder what would have happened if MLK had lived. Who knows, he might have been president one day??? 1968 was a pretty turbulent year, with the MLK and RFK assassinations, and the Chicago Democratic convention that followed. '68 is one of those years that will "stand out" in American history.

unfortunately this anniversary will probably get more attn. then those
who gave their lives so that MLK (and the rest of us) could have
the freedom enough to speak !
Oh, I dont now bout in your neck of the woods, but Veterans Day gets a good amount of coverage.

that is true...but it DOESNT get the air coverage that SOME holidays
get...im glad MLK stood up for what he KNEW was right...that NO
MAN OR WOMAN <regardless of the color of their skin or their
geographic location> should EVER suffer oppression OR REPRESSION !

RIP: Schwerner, Goodman, and Chaney too :notworthy
