Cummins and Finning has made their DPFs so that they can be opened up and cleaned for a few hundred dollars, I'm not sure why but the little truck engines don't look like they are doing this. i sure as hell wouldnt wanna be the owner that gets stuck w/ the
soot trap replacement cost @ 120k miles...i bet that thing isnt
gonna be cheap.
