7.3 Horsepower numbers (modified truck)

Just curious to see what any modified (99-03) 7.3's have done on the dyno...


Mine did 292 and 648, you can see the video in my sig.

I was extremly disappointed, it seemed lower that it should have. But that was before I knew about the overboost code and it defueling the motor. Now I have a boost fooler and Methanol, plus a couple other mods. I can't wait till the next time I get on a dyno.

Those are decent #s. Last April I made 311 and 640. Mine was through the stock slush box.

I wonder why my torque is higher, but you've go tme beat on HP.

Thanks Pat. I suppose it could be from different Dynos and the fact that you have a stick and I have a slushbox. I just don't know.

First off, welcome to SDD. Second, yea, this is probably the difference in torque. Autos tend to rob more torque than a stick because they have a lot more stuff to turn.
