So, everyone I have talked to including B+W says you have to put this BS bracket on your frame to drop the exhaust for the hitch to fit. This wouldn't be an issue if it didn't still hit the exhaust and rattle/squeak. It also makes the truck look rediculous with the tailpipe 4" below stock and pointing down.

So, my question is - would aftermarket exhaust like MBRP clear the hitch without the drop bracket?

Or, am I going to have to section my exhaust like I'm thinking.

I just can't bring myself to drop the tailpipe and look like a fart-mobile running down the road.

Thanks in advance,
Rusty

on my OBS i had the same issue, and i didnt try but it looks like aftermarket exhausts, being bigger in diameter, would have even less room. so i just made my own side exit in front of the rear wheel.

I may look at doing that, Zookie. Thanks for the response.

I think I may just try to section it and bring the "hump" that goes over the rear axle in tighter. I'll make sure it's not close enough to heat up the differential, but it seems that there is plenty of room there.
