Blowin smoke

Hello I have 04 f350 6.0 and she's blowin white smoke and overheatin.It has reacintly been into the dealership and had egr and oil pump replaced.

yea it might, but with the smoke and overheating that would be my guess. Any coolant loss if so thats almost a dead give away. What do you have done to your truck? From what i hear stock 6.0's dont like tuners or chips usually blows a gasket

it's overheating because steam is blowing on the sending unit..
he he I said "unit"

anyway.. 6.0's are kinda notorious for this...

here's a hint..
get a head stud kit put in it

I sorry took so long to get back. To the answer I have had it in the shop 4 times in the last 5 mnths first work was the egr sensor then exhaust manifold gaskets and manifolds. then it was the oil pump its one thing after another.

if ford is going to do the repair under warranty, talk the tech into using the head stud kit you provide, and give him a tip.

they are like $500-$600 for the head stud kit alone.

The work isn't under warrenty. I've shelled out 4500 hundred and I'am hoping that they cover this problem because its doing the exact same problems!
