Hello. I cant find the MOOG upper and lower ball joints for a twin I beam 99 F250. I saw someone post that autozone carrys them, but they said they do not know of what MOOG is.

I just replaced my upper ball joint this spring with the "value" crap they sell and it is just as bad as when I replaced it. I also found the lower at murrys, and that seems like its about to fall apart.

10K is not cool. I also hate doing ball joints. please help:thanks

oreilly auto parts has moog.

my autozone offered the moogs.... but I used the duralast units
from autozone <they too are life time warranted and grease-able> they
were a little cheaper than the moogs...im happy w/ 'em.

you can buy the kit from powerstrokeshop but how you gonna return
those lifetime moogs...you can buy the parts locally AND save some
money over the price of the powerstrokeshop.

ok thanks guys. I should be able to get them now or at least order them, I just want a guy who knows what a ball joint is instead of the kids at autozone that are baked out of there mind looking through me to help with this. I wish I had someone there to tell me not to get the lower end stuff when I did.

I now want to buy the higher end stuff so I dont have to do this every year or so, and worry about replacing them. its weird but the pasinger side is perfict. I dont tow much but should I pay attention to the GVW when purchising these???

autozone allows you to order the parts on line, confirm which
store HAS THEM IN STOCK and/or either have 'em shipped to your
door or held at the store for pick up

for me a KEY issue w/ LIFETIME WARRANTED parts is being able to
easily exchange them...either i buy the new and return the old when
im done or i pull the old part and take it to the store for FREE (LIFETIME
WARRANTED) exchange.

Doing lifetime warrantee parts exchange by MAIL slows things DOWN
too much for me....and when i can buy the parts CHEAPER LOCALLY
its a no brainer !

another advantage of buying local is that you can usually BORROW
the special tools <for free> ! Try doin' that w/ a mail order parts supplier !
