Question Cruise Control

I replaced the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor). Still no cruise
I have taken steering wheel airbag apart & shop some WD40 in there & the cruise worked for a little while, does that mean the clock spring is not working, & how do you take the steering wheel off, what kinda puller do you use, also is there away to adjust the clock spring?

yah, on my 00 the cruise done exactly what your describing, turned out to be the brake pressure switch on the master cylinder.

Is that the same place that the ford recall wire hooks up

yah, don't know anything about recall wire, but when i went to my local ford dealer to buy the brake pressure sending unit they told me it was in recall, they wanted me to wait about two hours so they could do the install, but i told them i'd put it on my self. it took about 10 minutes to install.

Yah they didn't change the switch they just changed the wiring I made an apointmnet & it took about 20 minutes
