NO problem Chris, glad it worked for ya, and anyone else. This stuff is what we're all about... share'n Mods'n Fix's. This little trick had been around for awhile.... did'nt mean to steal anybodys "Thunder". Seems like these things kinda die off, then someone brings'm up again.... Thought I'd share MY method(s), on an old fix.

JOE

Must say.... it was nice to Re-Post a fix and not be LAMBASTED  ;) :)

FWIW,

This is a great idea, but I got a little concerned about the vinyl tubing and our cold temps, so I tried another route that was mentioned, (elsewhere :sorry )
I installed 3/8" backer rod in my rear two doors last night. Worked like a champ, no more door rattle. Kid's did not have a problem shutting the doors this morning. Will keep you informed of progress as weeks go by. For people in cold climates, it might be a alternative.
