So, going with the SCT2 programs, but looking at gauges and not very happy with what is out there for the price. The products out there for $300 are IMO a joke.

Anyhow, can you get the attitude to work by itself? Or can you plug the Edge in and not have it do anything but still use the tunes from the SCT2? I just want the Attitude for it's gauges.

Can you use the gauges from the Attitude with the SCT2 tunes and not have the Edges tunes running?

Going on a 04 F350 6.0L

The attitude can work without the edge but you gotta find the right wire to make it power up. the only problem with this is the additude only reads so high on boost and egts. so you may be puttin out well over the egts and boost that the attitude says and never know it till things go wrong. I just read a thread over at the diesel place about how a guy had an lly duramax and cooked his turbo because his attitude was only ready like 30 psi but he was at 52 or 53. Really cant go wrong with a set of gauges. check autometer nexus they are kinda pricy but look really cool :sweet

I think you are going to be very disappointed if you try to jerry-rig something. Just get the guages. Dieselmanor.com has great packages. Check out their site.

FWIW, I have the attitude and guages, my attitude is always the same at the guages. something else is screwy there. I don't really thing a dmax would put out 52# of boost. If he cooked his turbo, his exhaust was too hot and he was not paying attention. JMO.

Nope he was runnin 52lbs of boost on the stock turbo. He had the ppe 90 tune i beleive and has efi live and had modified his boost tables a little. The nexus gauge recorded peaks of 52. The edge was turned to 0 and when he took it off and added the real gauges it was spikin 52. hes got vid of it go over to the video section on the diesel place and check it out.
