Im wondering if a set up like yours crum will work IF I have to have my tailgate down? Or is that too long and I will need to buy the supertruss or titan?
Setup and or camper like mine requires that the tailgate be removed. Most campers with rear overhang require tailgate removal. I would not recommend a standard extension over 24"(10' camper). Mine is 18" under a 9'4" camper. For campers over 10' the Supertruss is the way to go. I would also go with the Supertruss under a 9 or 10' camper if the trailer is heavier than 8k.
