That sounds about right. Maybe the 7.3 is heavier than the 6.0, or you have added extra equipment on your truck.

I am sorry, But I do not have that information at my finger tips. I seem to remember it was not a lot, like 250 pounds for the complete engine assembly.
I will post it if I can find it again.

my 250 with full tank of fuel and me it weighs 7400#, i tip the scales at 215#.

Do you have the standard cab truck? That would explain the light weight.
