www.fleetfilter.com has always had the cheapest filters...
i'd email the guys there and confirm the filters are AGAIN OEM "like"

there were some changes to the oil filter and frame rail fuel filter...

i bought several filters from these guys, and they were by far the
cheapest (and the filters i initally got & bought in 1/2 dozen quanities
were EXACTLY OEM like)

Just picked up the International Filter set (Intl. Part #1847170C92) from my local IH dealer. It definately is the right one for the 6.0 and has the protective membrane (sp?) around the paper pleats. Comes with both frame rail and engine mounted filters for $31. Funny thing is the picture at dieselfiltersonline.com does not show the white media around the pleats. Shows that it is a Motorcraft filter and part number though. Whats up with that? I thought the factory filter had the white wrap?

Has anybody priced an air filter at Wal-Mart?

My local Wal Mart does not have air filters for the 6.0. I wish they would handle them.

Checked out Wal Mart air filter tonight. It was Fram and priced at $61.95.

Just got off the phone with Southwest International Trucks, which is the IH dealer here in Dallas, and they got the fuel filter set for $30.69 plus tax....That is a heck of a savings right there.....Thanks for the info guys!!!!

Your local IH dealer, my oil filter was $25 CDN (racor) and the Fuel (racor)was just over $40............they had their list price at $90, he said that was stupid and gave it to me just above cost.
