I went to the Dallas Auto Show today, sat in a 2008 F450 KR. Sweet truck, but wow, what a price - $60300+!!!! $7100 for the diesel???? Also saw a new GMC Sierra 2500 HD with the Duramax. It was $7100+ also for the diesel. The Sierra sure resembles the 99-04 SD's. They had a KR 450, a FX4 350 CC SWB, a 350 S/C with the 5.4 gasser. I think Dodge had the most diesels there, but they didn't have a dually Megacab. Was really disappointed in the Toyota Tundra. Lots of cool vehicles there, including the Camaro concept and the Ford Interceptor concept.

All I can say is this...and I hope this wont be taken the wrong way, but you know, some people will drop this kind of coin on these trucks like its nothing. Most will deal with it as most do, financing and whatnot..but no matter how you get it...its a nice thing to have. Prices will reflect this. Although that Interceptor looks interesting.

Funny thing, the final price out the door for the Beast was right at the same money I paid for the house I live in now. Thankfully the cost of trucks has not followed the cost in housing, my house is worth over three times what I paid for it originally, after 13 years of ownership.
