thats wishful thinking...im sure they have to fill out a billion pages of paperwork saying the work was performed by a "certified technician" :lmao.

yeah little far..... but can I just go to my Dealership guy and ask fer the part and do it in the parking lot?????????

they do it for free.. why wanna get hands dirty?
tell them if they hook a scan tool up to it, you're kicking someone's *****

I used to work at herb chambers in boston, the mechanics are hacks, i just told the service advisor to turn me a repair order. Went to parts and slapped the harness on my 2001 350 psd. Knowing them it would have been lying on the exhaust manifolds, ha.....

speed control deactivation switch
stealership did mine today no cost just an hour and a half
and told me my trans fluid needs to be changed they will gladly do it for $400 flush fill and filter

took my sdd into the stealership for the recall and was back on the road within 5 minutes

there is a switch screwed into the nose of the master cylinder on affected models...
the switch leaks, the fluid shorts the circuit, causes a fire..
same problem Ford has had with other models..
