Certainly that banjo bolt didnt strip when he was removing it, he musta crossthreaded it when he put it in the last time. Have him run the banjo in and out of the new pump a few times before he puts the pump in(if its not to late) that will clean up the threads and make it easier to reinstall when trying to get it started under the pedestal.
I agree. That's the plan. The banjo bolt arrived late yesterday and he called late last night saying that he'd be here first thing in the morning.
I'd put it back together myself but I need his snap ring tool for the snap ring on the bottom of the FPR as well as a long extension for the fuel bowl bolts. Now that I'm so familiar with this fuel pump job I swear I'm doing the next one myself. Just gotta get certain tools.
