I have seen plenty of FEMA trailers just like mine at our local state park. Can't go there anytime soon though, the tornadoes of 2 weeks ago really did a lot of damage.
Why are they selling FEMA trailers when people are homeless from the tornadoes?

The Gov sold these trailer over the last year or so. I think if you would buy at least 10 of them you could get them for $2000.00 each. Most of them around here are for sale now for $2950.00 or up. The people in New Orleans, LA wouldn't live in them because they said the trailers were making them sick. So now you can own one. LOL

Doug, I have heard of dealers buying them for around 700.00 to 1000.00

I will let all of y'all in on my little secret that I have only told about 2 people on SDD.com so far.

This one didn't cost me a dime. :D

I worked some tornado disaster relief in Smithville, MS with my National Guard unit. I had never seen anything like it. Entire blocks were almost nothing but concrete slabs. It was worse than downtown Najaf in 2005. Sorry to get off topic.

I think you are right, it's just who you know. I got 4 or 5 emails trying to get me to come down there and pull them to lots all over the state of Texas and AR.

I would help yank some trailers around to help out. I remember the tornado in greensburg ks yrs ago, that was so devastating. I dont know how these newer outbreaks compare. But the entire town was wiped out minus the grain elevator and a church I belive. It was on cable about the rebuilding of the town using "Green" alternatives. They are back to normal now and amazing to see the town now.

Not yet. Can't really afford to use the thing right now. Business has slowed way down over the last 3 months. Working on some new stuff to haul, but gotta watch the Benjamins for now.

Just filled up the last of 2 cases of Mason Jars tonight with Figs,
also put some things in the freezer. Got to take the fifth wheel to
shop in the morning, refrigerator has quite working.
We took out a Good Sam ins on the RV a year ago,
so looks like I will get to see if it's any good for repairs.
To dang hot to be camping in the south anyway.
